OBITUARY: Lynda Houser

Lynda Houser, 53 of 2080 Barnett Road, Harrisburg, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held Thursday from 11 am until service time. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery and the Rev. Joe Daniels will officiate.

She was born on May 29, 1960, in Harrisburg to George and Zada (Martin) Turner whom survive.

She married Michael Houser on Sept. 7, 1985, and he preceded in death on Nov. 22, 2008.

She worked as a registered nurse for many years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Carrier Mills.

She is survived by three children: David (Becka) Houser of Carrier Mills; Nicole Houser and Nathan Houser both of Harrisburg; parents: George and Zada Turner of Galatia; two brothers: Scott (Jean) Turner and Sam Turner both of Galatia; sister: Oma Nell (Jerry) Farmer of Galatia; and two precious grandchildren that she adored: Michael and Medlee Houser.
