Today's News: Our Take - Ellen Actress Kate Williamson Dies at 83

Kate Williamson, who played Mrs. Rodgers on Ellen , died Friday,Deadline reports. She was 83.

Williamson, born Robina Jane Sparks, passed away in her Enicno, Calif., home. Her husband Al Ruscio, who appeared in The Godfather and on Seinfeld, had passed away on Nov. 12.

Williamson's other TV credits include Home Improvement and NYPD Blue.Her film credits include The Hi-Lo Country and Dahmer.

She and her husband are survived by their four children, Elizabeth, Michael, Nina and Maria. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Actor's Fund.
