There's less than a month to go until The Sound of Music Live! premieres on NBC on Thursday, Dec. 5. Fortunately, the production's cast already looks hard at work in rehearsals for the famed Rogers & Hammerstein musical.
In this new promo for the three-hour special, fans get to hear star Carrie Underwood perform not one but two classic songs: "My Favorite Things" and "The Sound of Music." Viewers also get also get a first look at Private Practice vet Audra McDonald in full nun attire and an early glimpse at Stephen Moyer's fancy footwork. Can he live up to the dashing Christopher Plummer? You be the judge!
