OBITUARY: William "Bill" Fox

William "Bill" Fox, 75 of Harrisburg, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at his residence.

He was born on Aug. 11, 1938, in Big Ridge to the late Marion and Charlotte (Davis) Fox. He was a former co-owner of the agri-business Fox Brothers Feed and Seed and Fertilizer for many years, and he was a farmer. He was a member of the Big Ridge Baptist Church and a veteran. On Dec. 24, 1961, he married the former Violet Faye Wright and she preceded him in death on Sept. 23, 1992.

Survivors include his daughters: Julie (Dennis) Barger of Delwood and Sherri Fox of Harrisburg; grandchildren: Sherri Flatt, Dale Flatt and Hannah Barger, all of Delwood; his brother: Gene (Jean) Fox of Harrisburg; and a sister: Sue Slay.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at the Watson Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Graves will officiate and burial will be in Big Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at the funeral home. For those who wish memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Big Ridge Cemetery and left at the funeral home.
