DEATH NOTICE: Simon S. "Sam" Messina

Simon S. "Sam" Messina, 92, McLeansboro, died 10:20 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at his home.

Funeral services are 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Visitation is 11 a.m. Wednesday until service time at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah O. Wilson; a sister-in-law; three nieces; and two nephews.
