Katt Williams Gives $1,000 to Wheelchair-Bound Fan

Katt Williams gave $1,000 to a wheelchair-bound fan after a recent show in Boston, TMZ.com reports.

After his show, security saw a woman crying in the audience. When asked, she insisted it was tears of joy after laughing for the first time since learning she'd need surgery for a new kidney.

Security then brought her backstage to meet Williams, who was so overcome by her story that he handed her a signed folded sheet of paper that had $1,000 inside.

The woman told TMZ.com that Williams' gift was an "awesome surprise" since she assumed the comedian was giving her marijuana.
