OBITUARY: Sarah Kathryn Loderback

Sarah Kathryn Loderback, 88, of Omaha, passed away 9:10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.

She was born on Oct. 14, 1924, in Eldorado, the daughter of Earl and Lottie (Edwards) Vaughn. She was married to Offa L. Loderback, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 22, 1977. Kathryn was a member of the Eldorado Social Brethren Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Swears of Omaha, Janet and Deon Woods of Omaha; one brother, James W. Vaughn of Menifee, Calif.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, James Loderback and Robert Loderback; three brothers, Riley Vaughn, Thomas Vaughn, and the Rev. Earl Vaughn.

Visitation for Kathryn will be held 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Omaha. Funeral service will be at the chapel 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23 with the Rev. Bill Jones officiating. Burial will be at Hazel Ridge Cemetery near Omaha.
