DEATH NOTICE: Lula Mabel Smith

Lula Mabel Smith, 86, Golconda, died Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at Twin Oaks Assisted Living.

Funeral service is 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at the First Presbyterian Church in Golconda. Visitation is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Cox and Son Funeral Home, Shawneetown Chapel are entrusted with arrangements.

Lula is survived by her husband Darce Smith of Golconda, two stepsons, three stepdaughters, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, two nieces, many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
