OBITUARY: Christopher Michael Retzloff
Christopher Michael Retzloff, age 52 of Harrisburg, passed away at 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, in Van Buren, Mo.
Chris was born on March 3, 1961, in Big Rapids, Mich., to Karl Retzloff and the late Carla Ann Hilja Hunt. On July 4, 2010, he married Alice Robinson and she survives. Chris was a surveyor working at American Coal and was a Marine Veteran.
He is survived by his wife: Alice Retzloff of Harrisburg; son: Tyler (Holly) Retzloff stationed in Germany; son: Trevor Retzloff stationed in Japan; daughter: Lindsey Robinson of Harrisburg; daughter: Megan Robinson of Patoka; daughter: Kierra Retzloff of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother: Karl (Karen) Retzloff of Dunedin, Fla.: brother: Tim (Rick) Retzloff of Lansing, Mich.; sister: Tammy Retzloff of Valdosta, Ga.; father: Karl Retzloff of Dunedin, Fla.; stepfather: Adrian Cervini of Linden, Mich.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Family will greet friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg with military rites by the Harrisburg and Carrier Mills American Legion and the National Guard starting at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Chris would prefer in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society or flowers be in the form of potted plants. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Chris was a loving father and provider who will be dearly missed by his wife, children and puppy dogs.
