OBITUARY: Ronald English

Ronald English, 70, of Harrisburg, died 1:45 p.m. Thursday Aug. 15, 2013, at the Saline Care Center in Harrisburg.

Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. Saturday until service time. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery with military rites by the Carrier Mills American Legion, Harrisburg American Legion and the Army National Guard Ritual Team. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the funeral home to cover funeral expenses, envelopes will be available.

He was born on May 23, 1943, in Ozark to the late Kenneth Truman and Reva Maxine (Durfee) English.

He worked as a painter and carpenter when he was able to work. He was also a Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War.

He is survived by two sisters: Barbara (J.R.) Holmes of Harrisburg and Kay Reynolds of Carrier Mills; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Gail Yovonne English.
