The Best Possible SNL Cast Replacements

Listen up, Lorne Michaels! The fall season's almost here and we still haven't heard a peep about who's going to replace Saturday Night Live cast members Jason Sudeikis, Bill Hader, Fred Armisen and the soon-to-depart Seth Meyers.

So if you're having trouble making up your mind on who to hire, let me help you out.

Nicole Byer The Girl Code star and Upright Citizens Brigade alum has the improv skills to tackle live TV and the acting chops to handle sketch comedy. Plus, someone needs to take over Oprah impressions now that Maya Rudolph has left.

Lauren Lapkus Lapkus has been around for a while, but has never seemed to get the recognition she deserves. The Orange is the New Black actress (who plays C.O. Fischer) does great character work and has a nice Kristen Wiig vibe that the show could benefit from.

24 not-so guilty pleasure shows

Baron Vaughn Screw singing the phone book. Vaughn has so much charisma all he has to do is sing the DuckTales theme song and the crowd goes wild.

Angela Trimbur

The fact that Trimbur wasn't on SNL to show off her Kristen Stewart impression during the Twilight phenomenon is a travesty. A travesty, I say!

Thomas Middleditch

Middleditch doesn't just play a character - he is that character. The comedian would be a great choice to fill the crater Hader and Armisen are leaving behind.

Franchesca Ramsey Ramsey kills it at character work and already has her Nicki Minaj impression down. Plus, she can sing and there's been a serious lack of comedy jams since Andy Samberg left.

Check out celebs who've survived scandal

John Mulaney When Meyers takes over Late Night midseason, his Weekend Update replacement will have a huge seat to fill. Since SNL writer Mulaney has already proved his skill at desk work, why not promote him to cast member and give him the gig full-time?

Maria Bamford Arrested Development's Bamford might be a little too established to join SNL, but with the show's four biggest names leaving, her comedy star power could help ease the transition. Plus, Bamford's offbeat style would be a nice complement to and welcome shakeup from the current cast's style.
