OBITUARY: Linda Kay Price

Linda Kay Price, 65, resident of the Pope County Care Center, in Golconda, died 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013.

There will be no formal funeral services for the cremated remains but the family will meet friends 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the family, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

She was born on July 12, 1948, in Madisonville, Ky., to the late Carlene and Anna Lou (Beal) Raines.

She was a homemaker and ran a daycare before her retirement.

She is survived by two sons: Kevin (Michelle) Morrison of Ramona, Calif., and Sean (Diana) Morrison of Carrier Mills; a brother: Corky Raines of Carrier Mills; two special friends: Sandy Barger of Eddyville and Marilyn Fowler of Mt. Vernon; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son: Jack Richard Morrison Jr.
