DEATH NOTICE: Verdeen Shounk

Verdeen Shounk, 90, died May 23, 2013 at U.W. Hospital, Madison, Wis.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at the Ward Funeral Home in Evansville, Wis. A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, in Hazel Ridge Cemetery, Omaha.

Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado is in charge of local arrangements.

She was the widow of Ralph Shounk. She is survived by one daughter, five grandsons, one granddaughter, 18 great-grandchildren, two brothers, two sisters, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
