American Horror Story, The New Normal, Raising Hope Win GLAAD Media Awards
American Horror Story: Asylum , The New Normal and Raising Hope were among the winners at the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards Saturday in Los Angeles.
The New Normal won for Outstanding Comedy Series, and Raising Hope won Outstanding Individual Episode, for "Don't Ask, Don't Tell Me What to Do," in which Burt (Garret Dillahunt) and Jimmy (Lucas Neff) go to a gay bar after realizing they don't know how to relate to gay people. American Horror Story: Asylum won for Outstanding TV Movie or Miniseries. The shows join previous honorees Smash and The Amazing Race , which were announced at a previous ceremony in New York.

Former President Bill Clinton was also presented with the Advocate for Change award at the ceremony, which was hosted by Drew Barrymore. Jennifer Lawrence and Harvey Weinstein were on hand to give Clinton the award.
An episode of Oprah's Next Chapter featuring Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka won Outstanding Talk Show Episode, and Days of Our Lives won Outstanding Daily Drama.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower was named outstanding film.
