Nicole Eggert Hospitalized After Splash Diving Mishap

Nicole Eggert was hospitalized Friday on the set of Splash , TMZ reports. The former Baywatch star was attempting a dive that included multiple backflips, but she ended up hitting the water back first.

An on-site EMT immediately went to pull Eggert from the pool and she was taken to a hospital for treatment. She was released after a few hours.

While the 41-year-old didn't break any bones, doctors were wary of internal injuries, particularly her kidneys.

Eggert isn't the star to injure herself on Splash. Chuy Bravo fractured his heel before he could even compete, Katherine Webb had to quit due to a back injury and Rory Bushfield ruptured his eardrum a few weeks ago but has continued to compete.
