Today's News: Our Take - Alexis Bledel Shows Off Engagement Ring

Alexis Bledel showed up to the Los Angeles premiere of her movie Remembering Sunday on Wednesday with a hot new accessory - an engagement ring from fiancé Vincent Kartheiser.

"Vincent picked it out," Bledel told Us Weekly .

Kartheiser popped the question to the Gilmore Girls alum in March after dating almost a year. As of now, the couple have no nuptial plans yet. "We're doing it together," Bledel said. "We haven't started yet though."

Bledel met Kartheiser when she guest-starred on Season 5 of Mad Men , in which she played the unstable mistress of his character, Pete Campbell.

This will be the first marriage for both.
