Margaret M. Wright

Margaret M. Wright, 95, of Dowell, passed away at 2:24 a.m., Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Friendship Manor Healthcare Center in Nashville, Ill.

Margaret had been a nurses' aide at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin. She had also worked as a dental assistant. She was of the Protestant faith.

She was born Nov. 27, 1917 at Blairsville, Ill., the daughter of Oscar and Florence (Jarvis) Bearden.

She married Robert Wright on Aug. 28, 1936 at Franklin County, Ill. and he preceded her in death in 1965.

She is survived by one son - Clayton M. Wright of Pinckneyville, one sister - Dorothy Nolan of Benton, Ill., one brother - Ray Bearden of St. Louis, Mo., three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters - Eva Aslinger and Eunice Wiseley, two brothers - Mickey Bearden and Ken Bearden.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 1, 2013 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. C.L. McKinnies officiating.

Friends may call from Noon until the time of service on Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Old Du Quoin Cemetery at Du Quoin.
