Ty and Emily Hood

Ty Michael Hood, 3, and Emily Grace Hood, 2, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013.

Ty was born July 13, 2009 in Sparta and Emily was born Oct. 14, 2010 in Carbondale to Adam Hood and Amber Rucks.

Survivors include their parents, Adam Hood and Amber Rucks of Du Quoin, Ill.; grandparents, Thomas and wife Peggy Buzzard of Knoxville, Tenn., Tim and wife Janet Rucks of Sparta, Ill. and Kevin Hood and Tracy Mapps of Du Quoin, Ill.; several aunts, uncles, cousins and lots of friends and family.

They were preceded in death by their great grandma, Joyce Prest and great grandma Rucks.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints with First Counselor John Fraedich officiating.

Interment will be in Tilden Cemetery

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
