OBITUARY: Dawn Renee Kovach

Dawn Renee Kovach, 54, of Salem died Friday, March 15, 2013, at St. Louis University Hospital.

Born June 30, 1958, in Metropolis, she was the daughter of Orville J. and Pauline Carnaghi Kovach, who preceded her in death.

She was the owner of Red Top Cafe in Odin and a former Radiology Tech at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia.

Surviving is: Jennifer Wooters, her daughter of Worcester, Mass.; Frank Redman, her special friend of Salem; Jerry Kovach, her brother and wife Diane of Harrisburg.

Visiting hours will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at the Rankin Funeral Home in Salem. Ms. Kovach was cremated as per her wishes.

There will be no service hour. Burial will take place at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the family and will be accepted by the Rankin Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements.
