OBITUARY: Paul Pritchett

Paul Pritchett, 93, of 6789 U.S. Route 45 South, Carrier Mills, died Sunday, 5:30 a.m. Nov. 18, 2012, at the Carrier Mills Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held noon Tuesday Nov. 20, 2012, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday. Burial will be in Wise-Robinson Cemetery near Ozark and the Rev. Tim Blankenship will officiate.

He was born on Aug. 19, 1919, in Stonefort to the late Ezekiel and Maggie (Gay) Pritchett.

He married Ruby Bryant on May 25, 1941, and she preceded in death on Aug. 27, 2001.

He worked as a sales clerk for many years before his retirement. He worked at Boren's IGA in Harrisburg and Scherrer's IGA in Shawneetown.

He was a member of the Stonefort Antioch Church.

He is survived by nieces and nephews including Ken (Patty) George and Alma (David) Lanfeer-Van Ausdoll, all of Marion.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Pritchett; three sisters, Grace Deaton, Nancy Loretta George and Blanche Pritchett; and five brothers, Benjamin Pritchett, Charlie Pritchett, Elmer Pritchett, George Pritchett and Ralph Pritchett.
