OBITUARY: Margaret Ann Ashby

Margaret Ann Ashby, 76, of 1540 Trolley Road, Eldorado, died Thursday Oct. 18, 2012, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.

She was born in Eldorado to the late Walter and Amanda (Cox) Bean. She was a homemaker a member of the Eldorado American Legion No. 169 and the legion ladies auxiliary.

She is survived by her two daughters, Judy Joyner of Cave-In-Rock and Mary Jenkins of Atlanta, Ga.; fiance, Ben Newman of Eldorado; five grandchildren, Charles, Terry and Cliff Joyner, Brady and Jacob Ashby and Amber Martin; one great-grandchild, Lilly Joyner; brother, Loren Bean; and two sisters, Ruby Bean and Dottie Stevens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "BurHead" Ashby; a son, Roger Ashby; seven brothers and sisters; and a great-grandchild.

Funeral services are 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at the funeral home.
