OBITUARY: Gloria Jean Butts

Gloria Jean Butts, age 66, of Harrisburg, formerly of Henderson, Ky., passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Ada Frankie Sutton; and two brothers, Arny Jimmy Sutton and Gordon "Butch" Sutton.

Mrs. Butts was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Kenneth Butts; two daughters, Angela Stone and husband Wayne, Dana Maxfield and husband Shannon; one son, Gary Powell Jr.; two sisters, Evelyn Buckman and Darlene Brooks; nine grandchildren, Bradley and wife Alicia, Dru and fiance Jacquelyn, Brandy, Brandon, Alex, Cydney, Natasha, Christopher and Braxton; and four great-grandchildren, Brianna, Kali, Aaron and Zachary; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home in Henderson, Ky. The Rev. Ten Burke officiated. Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Tilden, Ky. Visitation was from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the Benton-Glunt Funeral Home.
