DEATH NOTICES: Lowell Junior Williams

Lowell Junior Williams, 90, Hendersonville, N.C., formerly of Metropolis and Pope County, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, in Hendersonville, N.C.

Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at the Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis. Visitation was 9 a.m. until service time Sept. 3.

He was the widower of Essie Williams. He is survived by a son, two granddaughters, a grandson and five great-grandchildren.
