OBITUARY: Charles Allen Colbert III

Charles Allen Colbert III, of 5405 Walnut Grove Road, Carrier Mills, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at his residence. Graveside services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, at Lakeview Cemetery near Carrier Mills. Visitation is Tuesday after noon until service time at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. The Rev. Ownly Williams will officiate.

He was born Feb. 8, 1957, in Berwyn, to the late Charles Allen Colbert Jr. and Norma (Cole) Gibbs who survives.

He married Pam Williams on Nov. 5, 1991, and she survives.

He was employed as a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Colbert; mother, Norma Gibbs; seven children, Charita Colbert, Chaka Colbert, Aspen Moss, Catrina Colbert, Amelia Sumner, Debon Williams and Joshua Colbert; along with several brothers, sisters and grandchildren.
