DEATH NOTICE: Charles Dalton Jr.

Charles Dalton Jr., 83, of Metropolis, died 7:48 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at South Gate Health Care Center in Metropolis.

Hardin County Funeral Services, Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, at the funeral home. Graveside services are 11 a.m. at Cave Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by a daughter, a son, a brother, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was the widower of Galena Dalton.
