OBITUARY: Tommy Dale Lampert
Tommy Dale Lampert, 59, of Rosiclare, passed away Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.
Tom was born in Golconda to to Jesse James "Red" Lampert and Ruth (Clarke) Lampert March 19, 1953.
He is survived by one daughter, Roza Lynn Trusty of West Frankfort; five sisters, Shirley McIver, Deborah Tucker and Emily Tucker, all of North Fort Myers, Fla., Joyce Conkle of Auburn and Rebeccah Williams of Elizabethtown; four brothers, Stephen Lampert of Vienna, Kenneth Lampert of Elizabethtown, Jeffrey Lampert of North Fort Myers, Fla., and Jonathon Lampert of Bowling Green, Ky.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents; one sister, Christina Lampert; one brother, Radford Jay "Rusty" Lampert; and one nephew, Daniel Tucker.
He worked at the Fluorspar Mines with Ozark Mahoning and later as a maintenance person for the city of Elizabethtown until his health forced him to retire.
Visitation is noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at Cox Funeral Home and is open to all friends and family. Memorial services are 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at Hardin County Funeral Services-Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare. The Rev. Arthur Austin Jr. will officiate. Following services, burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Cave-In-Rock.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
May Tommy rest peacefully in the loving arms of God, free of pain. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him, and leaves an empty space right in the middle of our large family.
