OBITUARY: Larry Keith Murphy

Larry Keith Murphy, age 68, of Golconda, formerly of Carrier Mills died 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, in the Saline Care Center in Harrisburg.

He was born in Saline County to the late Oral L. and Marie Smothers Murphy July 6, 1944. He last worked at the Golconda Marina and was a veteran.

Keith is survived by his sister, Colleen Johns of Harrisburg; niece, Linda (David) Adams of Houston, Texas; nephew Jeff Johns of Carrier Mills; and close friends, Kay and Jeff Milligan of Harrisburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Johnny V. Murphy; and brother-in-law, Tom Johns.

Cremation has been accorded and according to to his wishes, burial will be private in the Spring Grove Cemetery.

Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is assisting the family with the arrangements.
