OBITUARY: Donna Rose Stallings

Donna Rose Stallings, 63, of Eldorado, passed away Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Ridgway Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Donna was born January 27, 1949, to Mary C. (Zuck) Stallings and the late Albert Stallings in Eldorado. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Throughout her life she was a teacher, X-ray tech assistant and for the past 20 years a librarian at Southeastern Illinois College.

Donna is survived by her mother, Mary Stallings of Eldorado; four sisters, Vonda Page, Venita Fals, Elaine Stallings and Carolyn Goolsby, all of Eldorado; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Dale Stallings and a nephew, Ronnie Dale Page.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home. Visitation is 11 a.m. Friday to service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family via the website www.colonialterracefuneralhome.com.
