OBITUARY: Linda Sue Beal

Linda Sue Beal, age 70 of Shawneetown, died peacefully at her home Monday, July 30, 2012. Linda was born in Harrisburg on July 14, 1942, to the late Luther and Edna (Woodside) Trammel.

Linda enjoyed doing puzzles, watching television and the outdoors. She worked many years as a caregiver. She loved to socialize with her friends but mostly loved her family. She was a good mother, sister, grandmother and friend and will be missed.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Angie Tarrence of Harrisburg; a son, Bryan (Dawn) Beal of Shawneetown; four grandchildren, Jessie Beal, Blair Dandridge, Ashley Uze, and Brennan Tarrence; two great-grandchildren, Jaiden Stricklin and Landon Uze; an adopted sister, Marie Carpenter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Betty Short; three brothers, Bill, Hayden and Jim Trammel; and a great-grandchild, Dalton Stricklin.

Funeral services for Linda will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012, at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until funeral time on Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Bill Springer will officiate and interment will follow in the Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg.
