OBITUARY: Edward Lynn "Mouse" Turner

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Edward Lynn "Mouse" Turner, 71, of Lansing, formerly of this area, died at 2:55 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012, in Community Hospital in Muster, Ind.

Lynn was born on April 9, 1941, in Marion, to the late Guy and Elizabeth Chamness Turner. He married former Sherry Roper on Nov. 25, 1964, who survives. He retired from Inland Steel after working 43 years. He was a member of the Lansing First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife Sherry of Lansing; a sister, Marlene George Stavroulakis of Ziegler; a brother, James (Norma) Turner of Galatia; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronald Turner and Joseph Turner.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2012, in the Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Stan Irvin officiating. Family will greet friends after 9:30 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills. The preferred choice of

remembrance should be memorials, in lieu of flowers, made to the First United Methodist Church of Lansing. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
