OBITUARY: Carla Deaton

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Carla Deaton, 45, of 311 W. Furlong St., Carrier Mills, died 1 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday June 24, 2012, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held after 11 a.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery and the Rev. Richard Graham will officiate.

She was born on November 11, 1966, in Harrisburg; the daughter of John and Shirley (Newbold) Rose.

She was married to Joey Deaton and he preceded in death on February 7, 2003.

She was employed at Homestead Electronics in Harrisburg.

She is survived by her parents: John and Shirley Rose of Stonefort; two sons: Justin Deaton and Ryan Deaton of Carrier Mills; fiancee: Michael P. Zimmerman of Carrier Mills; sister: Tonya Ham of Harrisburg: two brothers: John Walker of Carrier Mills and Rick Walker of Delaware, Ohio; mother-in-law: Betty Deaton of Carrier Mills; sister-in-law: Valeria (Rick) Mitchell of Carrier Mills; brother-in-law: Terry Funk of Cypress; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law: Johnetta Funk.
