Obituary: Mary Kathryn Thomas
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mary Kathryn Thomas, 78, of Eldorado, passed away at 7:40 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012, at Ferrell Hospital.
Mary was born in Harrisburg on March 28, 1934, a daughter of the late Iva (Hill) and Bertis Parker.
She was a member of Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
She worked at REA prior to retirement.
She was the wife of Joseph Delmon Thomas who survives. They were married July 7, 1951, in Eldorado.
In addition to her husband Delmon, Mary is survived by a daughter, Vicki (Mitch) Metcalf, of Kansas City, Mo.; a son, Harold Thomas, of Eldorado; three grandchildren, David Thomas of Chicago, Mike Metcalf, Maryland and Christy Allen, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Catherine, Matthew, Kaitlyn and Hailey.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2012, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Dale Orr officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to service time Monday, June 18, 2012, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
