Obituary: Margaret Ann Givan
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Margaret Ann Givan , 87, of 905 First St., Eldorado, died June 12, 2012, at Ferrell Hospital.
She was born in Nashville, Tenn. to the late James Henry and Mary Pearl (Bostwick) Carney. She was a job inspector for Johnson Construction Co. in Nashville and a member of the Eldorado Gospel Assembly Church.
On June 29, 1957, she married Richard L. "Dick" Givan, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 31, 1992.
She is survived by three sons, James Robert (Betty) Mohr of Brunswick, Ga., William E. Mohr of Tennessee and Jerry (Lisa) Givan of Eldorado. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Angie Tidwell and Bill Mohr Jr. of Nashville, Tenn., James Mohr, Kathleen Mohr and Stephan Mohr, all of Brunswick, Ga. and Jeri Amanda Givan of Eldorado; and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 16 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2012, at the Eldorado Gospel Assembly Church with the Rev. LD Jolly officiating. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 17, 2012, at the funeral home.
