Obituary: Shannon Earl Pryor

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Shannon Earl Pryor, 74, of Eldorado, passed away at 12:30 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2012, at Fountainview Nursing Home.

Shannon was born in Eldorado on April 3, 1938, a son of the late Gladys Loretta (Bean) and Earl Carlos Pryor.

He was an electrician at Babcoc and Wilcox prior to retirement.

He was the widower of Jackie (Wesley) Pryor, who preceded him in death.

Shannon is survived by a daughter, Rosemarie (Tony) Fritz of Christmas, Fla.; three sons, Earl K. (Holly) Pryor of Angleton, Texas, Phillip S. Pryor of Eldorado and Alfred (Tina) Pryor of Eldorado; three sisters, Evelyn (Neil) Lewis of Wayne City, Martha (Denzel) Towel of Sublette and Faye (Glenn) Vangampler of Carmi; and seven grandchildren, Kenneth Pryor, Morgan Pryor, Alexandria Pryor, Austin Pryor, Isaac Pryor, Josh Fritz and Daniel Fritz.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Earlene January and Mildred Sue Gaddis.

Shannon was cremated at his request and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
