Obituary: Donna Lea Sinks

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Donna Lea Sinks, 74, passed away at 10:48 a.m. Monday, May 21, 2012, at Alton Memorial Hospital.

She was born on Sept. 19, 1937, in Wood River, the daughter of the late Orville Clay and Addabelle ( McCurdy) Pullam.

She married Glen D. Sinks on Dec. 28, 1954, in Carmi. He survives.

Donna was a member of the Gospel Assembly in Jerseyville. Her greatest joy was taking care of and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband and three children, Glen Sinks Jr. of Eldorado, Clada and her spouse Paul Ramey of Eldorado, and Floyd Sinks of Eldorado; five grandchildren, Stephanie Sinks, Gordon, Kristopher and Patrick Rubenstein, and Tammy and her spouse Joshua Givens; and two great-grandchildren; Joshua Givens Jr. and Kailee Givens.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, David Lee Sinks; and one sister, Shelba Jean Crane.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton. Visitation will continue from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 25, 2012, with the Rev. Clyde Shaw officiating.

Burial will follow at the Wolf Creek Cemetery.
