Obituary: Floyd E. Williams
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Floyd E. Williams, 84, of 303 Sloan St. Harrisburg, died Friday, April 27, 2012, at the Marion Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
He was born in Norris City on Nov. 20, 1927, to the late John Wesley and Lena Rochell (Sigler) Williams. On July 21, 1977, he married the former Alma Ruth James, and she preceded him in death in 2009.
He retired from the Scot Lad/Roundys Corporation. He was a member of the Eldorado American Legion post 169, and he was a member of the First Christian Church in Eldorado, and he was an Army veteran.
Survivers include his children, Edward (Phyllis) Grisham of Anna, Dorothy (Rusty) Acosta of Purvis, Miss., and Judy (Skip) Prove of Gorham; five grandchildren, Lottie (Mark) Smith of Belleville, Beca Cambell of Anna, Gene (Erin) Bandy of Murphysboro, Shelly (Jason) Royer of Murphysboro and Clay Bush of Purvis, Miss.; also eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Watson Funeral Home with Dennis Robison officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Burial will be held at a later date.
