PREP BASEBALL: Carrier Mills takes care of Thompsonville

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Carrier Mills&#39; baseball team took care of Thompsonville Tuesday, knocking off the Tigers 9-6.

Dalton Summers picked up the win on the mound, allowing six runs on eight hits with just one strikeout.

Carrier Mills scored three runs in the first inning and tacked on two in the second inning. The Wildcats then scored two in both the fourth and sixth innings.

Josh Bailey was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a pair of RBIs, while Gabe Morgan was 2-for-3 with a run and two RBIs. Darren Betz was 1-for-3 with a run scored and Loren Whiting was 1-for-2 with three runs scored. Jordan Walker finished 2-for-3 with a run and two RBIs.

Carrier Mills (9-9, 8-2 GEC) will play at Pope County on Thursday.
