Obituary: Sharon Kay Gee Gibbons

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Sharon Kay Gee Gibbons, 70, of 640 Town Park Road, Harrisburg, died 1:45 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2012, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery and the Rev, Stan Irvin will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church WOW Group, envelopes will be available at funeral home.

She was born on June 28, 1941, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to the late Merritt and Beatrice (Miller) Butler.

She married Larry Gee and he preceded her in death in September 1980. She later married Billy Gibbons in June of 1982 and he preceded in death in November 2001.

She was a homemaker and of the Nazarene faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Kim (Bruce) Gibbons of Harrisburg; sister, Mary Ellen Galvin of White Lake, Mich.; stepdaughter, Julie Gibbons of Harrisburg; six grandchildren, Molly Gibbons, Kaci Sumner, Kory Sumner, Kody Sumner, Meagan Gibbons and Christopher Gibbons; and one great-grandchild, Madilyn Sumner.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; parents; brother, Darrell Butler; and stepson, Larry Gibbons.
