Services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2012, at Crain Funeral Home, Cape Girardeau, Mo. Visitation was 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2012, at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda (Hardin) Matlock; a son; two daughters; his parents; a brother; his father- and mother-in-law; a stepdaughter; two stepsons; a grandson; a granddaughter; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
