Obituary: Harold Lee 'H.L.' Ross

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Harold Lee "H.L." Ross, 72, of Harrisburg, passed away at 5:14 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2012, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

Harold was born Aug. 10, 1939, in South Fulton, Tenn., to the late Harrell and Nell Marie (Tuck) Ross. He married Georgia Mae Guill on Jan. 24, 1960, and she survives in Harrisburg. Harold was a member of the Harrisburg Church of Christ.

Harold is survived by his wife Georgia; three sons, Rick Ross and wife Doris, Tim Ross and wife Betsy, and Jerry Ross and wife Jen; six grandchildren, Anna, Mike, Dylan, Eddie, Andy and Ali; brother, Bill Ross; several nieces and nephews; and a special brother-in-law, Fritz Metzger and wife Betty.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Patty Metzger.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2012, at the Harrisburg Church of Christ. Bro. Darrell Simon and Bro. Robert Coburn will officiate; burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg, and from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2012, at the Harrisburg Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to the Harrisburg Church of Christ Disaster Relief Fund and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
