Obituary: Arvella Smith

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Arvella Smith, 87, of Harrisburg, passed away at 9:40 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

Arvella was born on Feb. 9, 1925, to the late Joseph and Christina (Thompson) Evans. She married James Smith and he preceded her in death.

Arvella is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Streeter of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; two grandchildren, Shawn Tracey of California and Theresa Berry of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; three great-grandchildren, Skyler Tracey, Dylan Tracey and Zechariah Berry; and two sisters, Mildred Roberson of Detroit, Mich. and Ann Shea of Harrisburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; sister, Elsie Peake; brother, J.C. Evans; sister, Mabel Bush; sister, Betty Kendall; and great-granddaughter, Keirra Berry.
