Obituary: Daniel E. 'Dan' Anderson

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Daniel E. "Dan" Anderson, 62, of 801 Mundy St., in Eldorado, died Tuesday March 20, 2012, at his residence.

He was born in Eldorado on April 15, 1949, to the late Robert and Vereda (Porter) Anderson. He worked as a butcher for Food Center and also at IGA in Harrisburg and McLeansboro and Big Johns. He also owned Anderson Apartments in Eldorado.

Surviving is his son Curt (Brandi) Anderson of Eldorado; four grandchildren, Derik Anderson of Citrus Springs, Fla., Maranda Anderson, Dustin Milligan and Cameron Anderson all of Eldorado; and one great-grandchild, Cayden Anderson. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2012, at the Watson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012, at the funeral home.
