Obituary: Dorothy Salus-Anderson
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Dorothy Salus-Anderson, 93, Harrisburg, passed away 5:39 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2012, at Fountainview Nursing Home in Eldorado.
She was born July 22, 1918, in Harrisburg to Richard and Talitha Morse. She was married to W. R. "Bill" Salus and later to Ed Anderson and both preceded her in death.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Harrisburg.
Survivors include three sons, William (Bill) Salus of Gainesville, Fla., David Salus of Pearl City, Hawaii and Mark and Allison Salus of Paducah, Ky.; one daughter, Cindy Mitchell of Harrisburg; eight grandchildren, Gabe Mitchell, Orlando, Fla., Cydni Mitchell, Tampa, Fla., Andrea (Matt) Bockley, Minneapolis, Minn., David Blair Salus, Marion, Kai Salus, Hawaii, Samuel Salus and Scarlet Salus and Liza Salus of Paducah, Ky.; and three great-grandchildren, Waylon Bockley, Garrett Salus and Tyler Salus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands W.R. "Bill" Salus and Ed Anderson; one son-in-law, Mack Mitchell; two brothers, Amos and Waldo Morse; and three sisters, Lucy Probasco, Edith Morrison and Thelma Spears.
It was her wish that she be cremated. Family services will be at a later date. J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg is in charge of arrangements.
