Obituary: Bill Lukancic
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Bill Lukancic, 75, Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, Ind.
He was born on April 16, 1936, in Harco to the late William and Josephine (Hrasar) Lukancic. On April 9, 1966, he married Peggy Osburn and she preceded him in death on June 3, 2002. Bill was a carpenter and a member of McKinley Avenue Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, Jeff and wife Lisa Fisher of Evansville, Ind.; daughter, Jane and husband Brian McGhee of Carbondale; daughter, Lori and husband Les Palmer of Carterville; two brothers, Jim Lukancic and Jesse Lukancic; a sister, Thelma Manier; 11 grandchildren, Matt Fisher, Lee and wife Kimberly Palmer, Courtney and husband Brett Oswald, Cody Duncan, Alexandria Vazquez, Tatiana Miller and husband Cody, Malachi Lukancic, Heather Nally, Marisa Lukancic, Maya Lukancic and Jaxon Lukancic; and four great-grandchildren, Heath Miller, Madeline Miller, Annabelle Miller and Lainey Oswald.
Visitation for Bill will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2012, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Brushy Creek Cemetery in Harco. The Rev. Roger Lipe will officiate. Those wishing to attend are asked to gather at the cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to First Baptist Church Relief Fund or American Heart Association.
