Obituary: Annette Marie Prather

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Annette Marie Prather, 55, of Harrisburg, passed away at 8 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012, at Barnes Jewish Hospital.

She was born on Jan. 26, 1957, in Harrisburg to the late John Thomas and Ruth Mary (Kellerman) Hauptmann. On May 25, 1979, she married Tim Prather and he survives.

Annette was a kindergarten teacher's aide at West Side School. She attended the First United Methodist Church of Harrisburg. She enjoyed photography and collecting antiques.

Surviving family members include her husband, Tim Prather of Harrisburg; two daughters, Amanda Prather and Katie Prather; two brothers, David William Hauptmann and Gene Hauptmann; sister, Celeste Ruth Bybee and husband John of Douglas, Ga.; two nephews, Ronnie Hauptmann of San Diego, Calif. and Caldwell Hauptmann of Bonita Springs, Fla.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2012, at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Christine Cunningham will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Reed Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
