Obituary: Margaret Aileen Schuermann

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Margaret Aileen Schuermann, Chesterfield, Mo., formerly of Harrisburg, passed away on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at Friendship Village Health Center in Chesterfield, Mo., at the age of 92.

She was born on May 31, 1919, in Makanda to the late Everett and Nellie C. Scroggins (Wright). She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Lee Wright of Harrisburg, who preceded her in death.

She married Clarence Noonan of Harrisburg in 1937 and Warren E. Schuermann of St. Louis, Mo., in 1971. Both husbands preceded her in death. She had two sons precede her in death, Tommy Lee and Donald Lee Noonan.

She will be greatly missed by her surviving family, which includes two daughters, Connie Jo Carter of St. Louis, Mo., and Margaret A. Whitten of Joplin, Mo.; two stepsons, Randy Schuermann of Chesterfield, Mo., and Rick Schuermann of Oklahoma; and three sisters, Vera Vaughn of Harrisburg, Barbara Smith of Peoria, Ariz., and Betty Young of Rolla, Mo. She leaves five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She leaves two special nieces, Lisa Vaughn and Terri Lynn Smith; and one special nephew, Ronald Lee Smith.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg. Those wishing to attend are asked to gather at the cemetery. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Bethesda Lutheran, 600 Hoffman Drive, Watertown, Wis. 55094 or to a charity of choice.
