Obituary: Doreen A. Horn

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Doreen A. Horn, 74, Vienna, died 3:15 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at Hillview Nursing Home, Vienna.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday. Burial will be in New Burnside Cemetery.

She was born on Aug. 9, 1937, in Eau Claire, Wis., to the late Elbert and Selma Ann (Wick) Sloat. She married Kenneth Horn Sr. in 1956, and he preceded her in death in July 1987.

She was a retired licensed practical nurse.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Marilyn Conley-Horn of Creal Springs; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Greg Dunning of New Burnside; a sister, Arly Rishel of Kaneville; eight grandchildren, Jeremy Horn, Jason Horn, Richard Horn, Darla Culver, Josh Horn, Michael Dunning, Kendy Polley and Billy Horn; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Horn Jr.; grandchild, Aubrey Basham; three brothers; and three sisters.
