PREP BOYS HOOPS: Carrier Mills gets revenge on Hardin County
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Eldorado boys' basketball team split a pair of games over the weekend, while Carrier Mills earned a win over Hardin County.
The Eagles knocked off Johnston City 63-61 Friday night and then lost to Christopher 79-66 on Saturday night.
In the win over the Indians, Trey Sigler led the Eagles with game-high 25 points, while Lucas Weir tacked on 15. Brennan Unthank scored two points and Devin Aldridge finished with three points. Dakota Prather had two points and Joel Boulds and Justin Wiseman each had eight points.
In the loss to Christopher, Weir had 14 points, while Unthank tacked on three points, as did Street. Aldridge led the Eagles with 21 points, while Prather had eight and Sigler scored six. Tyler Deaton had nine and Wiseman had two points.
In Carrier Mills' win over Hardin County, Gabe Morgan had 22 points to lead the Wildcats to their 15th win over the season over the Cougars.
Kyle Holloman had 22 points for Hardin County.
Bailey scored six points for Carrier Mills, while Krem had 10. Cameron Taborn finished with four points, while Jordan Walker had six and Dathan Taborn scored two.
Carrier Mills is now 15-9 on the season.
Game information was obtained from The Southern Illinoisan. Coaching staffs from both Eldorado High School and Carrier Mills failed to call in game results by press time Monday morning.
