Obituary: Thelma Louise Case
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Thelma Louise Case, 84, of Carrier Mills passed away at 10:13 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg.
She was born on March 19, 1927, near Shawneetown, the daughter of Oscar and Flora (Morehead) Pinkston. Thelma was a retired licensed practical nurse from the Bowan Center in Harrisburg. She married Charles Thomas Case on Dec. 7, 1945, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 2004. Also, she was a member of the Sloan Street Baptist Church in Harrisburg.
Thelma is survived by a daughter, Wilma L. Grathler of Equality; one granddaughter, Garyn Case of Tennessee; three grandsons, Gary Case of East St. Louis, Mike and Wendy Dunn of Carrier Mills and Jerry and Angie Grathler of Equality; one sister, Wilma Dempsey of Alton; one brother, Jody and Wiladean Pinkston of Harrisburg; four great-grandchildren, Michael and Jessica Dunn and Kyli and Elijah Grathler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Gary Case; sister, Martha Dean; brother, Thomas E. Pinkston; five half-sisters, Aliene Liggette, Opal Newmann, Helen Feuquay, Leitha Buttler and Evelyn Bowman.
Visitation for Thelma will be held from noon until service time at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown.
