Obituary: Cecil L. Cole
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Cecil L. Cole, 77, of 501 E. Washington St., Carrier Mills, died 11:20 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at the home of his son in Herrin.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held after 10 a.m. Saturday until service time. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery near Carrier Mills and the Rev. Mike Cole and the Rev. Ownly Williams will officiate.
He was born on April 13, 1934, in Carrier Mills to the late Ward and Lillian (Lyles) Cole.
He was a graduate of Carrier Mills High School and a retired bricklayer.
He was a member of the Harvest Deliverance Center Church in Harrisburg.
He was the founder and member of the Carrier Mills Sportsman Club.
He is survived by two sons, Cameron (Emily) Cole of Herrin and Mark Cole of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Vera Newsom of Chicago and Rosalyn Dunston of Rockford; a brother, Clifford Cole of Rockford; three sisters, Claretta Williams of Carrier Mills, Clesta Williams of Freeport and Mary Willis of Kankakee; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Clyde Cole, James Cole, Isaac Cole and David Cole; and three sisters, Gladys Allen, Nita Grey and Lula Orie.
